Set up the Leaderboarded Add-On for Google Sheets

The Leaderboarded for Sheets add-on turns a Google Sheet into a live leaderboard, with no copy-pasting and no "publish to web" step.

Install it

1. Open any Google Sheet.
2. Go to Extensions → Add-ons → Get add-ons and search for Leaderboarded for Sheets, then install it.
3. Reopen the sheet. You'll see the Leaderboarded icon in the right-hand side panel.

Create your leaderboard

1. Open the add-on by clicking the Leaderboarded icon in the right-hand side panel.
2. Pick your Name and Score columns — the add-on guesses them for you.
3. Click Create leaderboard. Your board opens in a new tab, ready to share.

Keep it in sync

In the add-on, choose how the board updates:

• Manual — click Sync now whenever you want.
• Auto-sync — flip the toggle and edits push automatically a few seconds after you make them.

That's it. Your spreadsheet is now a live leaderboard.
