A leaderboard everyone on the team can see

Anthropic's analytics dashboard is locked to admins on Team and Enterprise plans. This is a shareable leaderboard — link it in Slack, embed it in Notion, throw it fullscreen on the office TV. The engineers being ranked actually get to see the ranking.

For teams on Pro, mixed-plan teams, and API users

Claude for Teams ships analytics on the Team plan and up. If your team is on Pro, or you're mixing Pro and Free, or you're using the API outside the Team plan, you don't get the built-in dashboard. This leaderboard works on any Claude plan — we pick up the usage data Claude Code already records locally.

Anthropic's leaderboard ranks people inside one organization. This one doesn't care about org boundaries — compare backend vs frontend, agency vs client, subsidiary vs subsidiary, or a public community group. One board, any team you've onboarded can participate.

If you're on Claude for Teams or Enterprise, with admin access and the GitHub app installed, Anthropic's dashboard is excellent — it has its own top-10 leaderboard with GitHub-attributed PR metrics. Use it. Use this leaderboard when you're on Pro, when you want engineers (not just admins) to see the ranking, when you want to put it on the office TV, or when you're running a competition that spans teams, organizations, or a fixed time window — cases the built-in dashboard structurally doesn't cover.

Today it ranks by raw token count (input + output) per developer, summed across all Claude Code sessions. That's a measure of activity — useful for surfacing who's most engaged with the tool, less useful as a productivity metric. We're rolling out cost-based scoring (USD spend computed from per-model pricing) so an Opus turn ranks above a Haiku turn of the same length. You can also manually score the same board on any metric you prefer — sessions, active days, or anything else.
