Participant data capture is not available by default. To get started, contact us and we'll activate it within 24 hours. A Pro paid plan is required.

What is Participant Data Capture?
Collect additional information beyond just names and scores. This information is:
- Always private: Never displayed on the public leaderboard
- Admin-only: Only visible to you in the admin view
- Exportable: Included in your CSV downloads
- Flexible: Choose which fields to enable
Available Fields
Standard Fields:
- Email - Participant's email for follow-up and lead generation
- Organization - Company or organization name
- Job Title - Participant's role or position
Compliance Fields:
- Privacy Policy Agreement - Link to your privacy policy with required checkbox
- Marketing Opt-in - Optional marketing communications consent
Custom Fields:
- Request fields tailored to your specific needs

How to Activate
- Ensure you have an active Pro paid plan
- Contact us with which fields you need
- We'll activate the fields within 24 hours
- Fields will appear when you add or edit participants
Note: Field activation applies to all your leaderboards.
Using the Feature
When you add or edit participants, fill in the additional fields. The data stays hidden from the public leaderboard and appears only in your admin view and CSV exports.
Exporting Your Data
All participant data is included in your CSV export:
- Click the three-dots menu (⋮) in the admin panel header
- Select Download as File
The CSV includes participant names, scores, all captured data fields, and score history (for scoresheets). Empty fields are excluded automatically.

Privacy and Compliance
Data Visibility:
- Public leaderboard: Shows only names, scores, and profile images
- Admin view: Shows all data including hidden fields
- Participants: Cannot see each other's hidden data
Participant data capture is designed with privacy in mind. Participants see what data you're collecting, privacy policy checkboxes can be required, marketing opt-in is optional, and data can be deleted by removing participants. For custom compliance fields, contact us.
